Changes to Our Payments Supported Countries List

At 4Geeks, we are constantly evaluating our services to ensure we deliver the best possible experience for our merchants. As part of our commitment to providing a secure, reliable, and high-quality payment processing platform, we sometimes have to make difficult decisions to align with our long-term strategic goals.

Today, we are announcing an important update to our list of supported countries for 4Geeks Payments.

What is Changing?

Effective October 31, 2025, we will be discontinuing our support for merchants based in Costa Rica and Panama.

This means that after this date, businesses operating from these two countries will no longer be able to process transactions using 4Geeks Payments.

Why This Change is Being Made

This was not an easy decision. We are immensely grateful to the community of merchants in Costa Rica and Panama who have trusted us with their business.

However, as we continue to scale and enhance our platform, we are focusing our operational and compliance resources on a core list of countries. This strategic focus will allow us to strengthen our service, accelerate the introduction of new features, and maintain the highest standards of quality and support for the markets we serve.

For Our Merchants in Costa Rica and Panama

We are dedicated to making this transition as smooth as possible for our affected partners. If your business is based in Costa Rica or Panama, we strongly recommend that you begin exploring alternative payment processing solutions to prevent any interruption to your services.
