When people often say that they are working for an organization in a remote style it is normal to think or relate this new concept with things or places like beaches, mountains, cocktails… well traveling in general, right?!

Those people who actually do that are normally called nomads and let’s be honest, the way they live is awesome but there is a reality, and this is that not everybody can adapt to this kind of life and it isn’t sustainable for everyone.

Remote work is not always about traveling the world, sometimes is just about expending more time with family, friends, your dog (well dogs are family), but the point is that working remotely opens a lot of possibilities for you as an employee or for your company or brand to be free. Here are some styles of remote work that you can implement in your organization in such a way that everybody can be more productive, creative, efficient and effective in their roles:

The Full-Time Remote Talent

Of all your human talent at least the 45% to 50% are going to prefer this kind of style. The full- time employee usually is not obligated to be working for eight hours straight. 

They are going to have flexibility, for example, they may only work four hours in one day but that is not a problem as long as they accomplished their goals for the day, week, month, etc.

The human talent in your company that wants to work with this style are the ones who doesn’t like to work from a office but still want to get all the benefits from working for a company, like a stable income, healthcare and some times retirement options for them and their families.

The Moonlight Talent

This type of human talent enjoy working in an on site environment but after Five o clock they like to work on new projects. They’re very proactive, they will continue working on the tasks they didn’t finished home or they will take extra projects from other companies.

The main benefit of being a moonlight talent is that if you are passionate and love what you do you are not going to see the extra work as a job, instead, you will see it as a hobby and with more projects, more income.

The Independent Talent

Also called as freelancers, they like to go from project to project without being a 100% attached to one organization. 

They are not obsessed with the incomes, they usually are paid per project or per hour and as it was mentioned before they work with different clients at the same time.

Diversified Remote Talent

This category of human talent are the one who likes going into the office but no five or six days a week or do not like being there for eight hours straight. 

So how they manage their time? Well, they spent two or three days at the office sometimes or they work half of the day at home. Diversified remote style is the more common way into transition from a on site organization into a remote one.

Now that you know the variety of remote working styles, which one do you prefer?!

Working remotely as you can see have a lot of varieties for your employees to choose from, but at the end you as the head of a company have to decide which rolls can fit better for each of them.

The important thing is for you to know that is not a obligatory thing to go a 100% as a remote company, you have options, just study them and decide which one or ones are the best fit for having a very high productive organization, because at the end, employees are the ones who make your company better.
