Our internship program exposes senior students to real job scenarios and projects, in order to increase their professional experience. David is one of the engineering interns and until now he has done an excellent job at the Tenndo project.
I asked a few questions, to everybody know him better. Let’s see what he has to say.
How will you describe yourself?
I am a person that loves to learn, so I use the resources on the Internet to keep me learning. But I don’t want to only keep me learning so I try to regularly put in practice all the new and old knowledge, and for that, I think in a project and after thinking on it I start working on it.
How do you enjoy your free time?
Watch some chapters of a series or anime, play some video games and watch learning videos.
Best series you have ever watched?
Attack on Titan, Dr. Stone, Gravity Falls, and Money Heist. Yeah, I like more the cartoons.
Mountain or the beach?
I like the two options.
Do you practice any sports (adventure, extreme, endurance)?
Actually not, but I like to walk.
What kind of music do you like?
As we say in spanish “De todo un poco”.
What are your top books of all the time?
I really love The Hunger Games Saga, at the moment that I’m writing this it’s impossible to not hear in my mind the phrase “May the odds be ever in your favor”.
What are your top 5 movies of all the time?
I love the Movies of The Hunger Games especially the movie “Catching Fire”, I also like Maze Runner, Star Wars, Planet Apes, and the Nun or Insidious.
What is the most exciting part of being a Software Engineer?
I love this because you need to think about how to make something, you need to take an idea and divide it to start thinking about how to make it possible on a computer. And when you finish then you can see the result of all your work and that’s awesome.
What are your goals for this year?
End my carrier, start working in an area of my carrier in some cool enterprise like 4Geeks. And when start earning a salary I really want to contribute to all the needs in my house.
I really enjoyed reading and writing about David, I have heard really good feedback about his performance, and it’s nice to know him better even though we work separately.
