Our Internship Program is not only focused in developing engineering skills, there are plenty of options, including Marketing and Sales. María Alejandra (she prefers going by Mariale) is one of those interns, she joined the Program on June 2020 and has done a great work with the Growth Unit.

She is passionate about traveling, learning about cultures, volunteering, and not only teaching and communicating to the people around her but learning from each of them.

I asked her a few questions, what does she have to say?

How would you describe yourself?

I am a very cheerful, creative, and outgoing person. I love to meet new people and also new cultures. I do not give up easily and love to share my own experiences in order to help others.

How do you enjoy your free time?

Hanging out with my friends, watching Netflix, and working out.

What is the most exciting part of being a Marketing Intern?

What I am most excited about is that I will be able to use all the tools I have learn in the past few years and put them to use in the real world and at the same time learn from others.

Which is the best part of being part of the 4Geeks team?

I love the culture of the company. The team is so lovely, welcoming, and is always there to help you out. All the team members want everyone to succeed and feel part of the 4Geeks team.

What are your goals for this year?

Well, this has been a crazy year. All my initial plans for the year change completely. But I am trying to look for the bright side of things and focus on other goals that before I thought I “didn’t have the time”. I am taking the time to learn more outside my classes and grow in my career professionally as I graduate next year and also focusing on growing in self-care and confidence.
