Our Internship Program has a successful and retention rate. So that means, most of our interns remains at the company after they finish the internship. Russell is one of them, actually he hasn’t finish the internship yet but his last couple of weeks have demonstrate his willing to growth, effort and compromise.

He lives in Cartago, Costa Rica. One of the most beautiful cities of this country, but he grew up in San José, actually both cities are pretty close.

I asked Russell a few questions, lets see what he has to say…

How would you describe yourself?

I’m a retro-geek who likes fitness stuff and science.

How do you enjoy your free time?

Reading, playing with the cats, being with the family, cleaning/ordering something or when there is a lot of free time trying to restore old stuff.

Mountain for much!

I like running, cycling, swimming, lifting weights and obstacle-like.

Classics from the 1950s to 2000s, mainly rock, and slavic-countries music from about the same time.

What are your top 5 books of all the time?

  1. Pretty much everyone I get to read form the Cthulhu Mythos (HP Lovecraft) RL Stine’s Goosebumps (yep, those are for children, I like them anyway)

What is the most exciting part of being a Software Developer?

To have the opportunity of embracing a new challenge every day, specially those that present a task that requires to learn and develop something new in order to solve it.

What are your goals for this year?

To give more to others, and be able to feel that I already have what I truly need, with whatever situation I’d be living at.
