Our Marketing and Sales Internship Yerleyn hosted a batch of interns since June 2020. Yerleyn is one of them and has done an extraordinary work with the Tenndo Unit. Her commitment and determination has being a great support for the team.
Yerleyn is from San José, Costa Rica. And what she is most passionate about is being able to meet people, grow both professionally and personally, through study, people around and volunteers. But also she is really into meeting new restaurants.
I asked her a few questions, what does he have to say?
How would you describe yourself?
I am a person who loves to learn and debate ideas. I am super focused on goals, I know I want it and I try a thousand times to achieve it. I consider myself a very happy person who transmits that, as well as someone who loves to participate in everything a little and help as much as possible.
How do you enjoy your free time?
As long as I can meet with friends, I like to read, I love to watch series, cook a little, like watch curious little things (one brings up very crazy topics of conversation later, but that “you knew what” of day xD).
Best series you have ever watched?
Uff super difficult haha but I have top 3 let’s say, it would be Dexter, Psych and The Blacklist.
Mountain or Beach?
I love them both, but more about the mountain because it’s a bit more touring
Do you practice any sports (adventure, extreme, endurance)?
I’m zerooo for sports, super bad. But I like heights so I hope I can bungee jump sometime.
What kind of music do you like?
A little bit of everything… I put it this way from Andrea Bocelli and Kiss, passing through Gilberto Santa Rosa and Maroon 5, to Bad Bunny and Morat haha
What are your top 5 books of all the time?
- I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings
- Pride and Prejudice
- Harry Potter
- The Diary Of a Young Girl
What are your top 5 movies of all the time?
- The Help,
- Liar Liar
- Mulan jaja
- The Shape of Water
What is the most exciting part of being a Marketing Intern?
Facing the new, a real world of work, because one always knows more about challenges in all areas. You know your abilities better, how you face crisis, how it works with other people.
Which is the best part of being part of the 4Geeks team?
They have a style of work that does not impose a mold to follow, leaves the freedom to do according to one and that makes the potential express itself better than following something to the letter. In addition, it fosters a very pleasant work environment in my opinion.
What are your goals for this year?
Professionally, advance my second career, perfect a second language and start a third. Personally, take up some hobbies that I couldn’t continue due to study, and start some volunteer projects.
